Printers, Copiers, Scanners, and Fax

Printing

Black and white printing from library computers is available at both branches. Printing costs $0.15 per page for black and white copies and only prints to letter sized (8 ½” x 11”) paper only.
In order to print any non-standard font on our printers it is recommended that you save the document as a PDF and print the PDF.  All fonts are preserved when you convert the document to PDF.

Photocopying

Black and white photocopying is available at both branches. Black and white photocopies cost $0.15 per side. Colour photocopying is now available at the Fonthill Branch for $0.50 per side.

Scanning

A document scanner is available at the Fonthill Branch. Documents can be scanned and saved to a USB key or sent to an email address. Scanning is a free service.

Faxing

Fax services are offered at the Fonthill Branch. You may have to wait for a staff person to be available to send your fax. Please note that we cannot guarantee receipt of the fax by the receiver.

Send / receive within North America – $1.00 / page up to $20.00

International fax transmission – $1.00 / page up to $20.00 and $0.50 per minute.

Cloud Printing – Fonthill branch

With a free Google account you can send jobs from your wireless device to the printer in our Fonthill branch.

Here are the steps:

1. Log into your Google account in Chrome.

2. Click the link to add the library’s printer:  Pelham Public Library (Fonthill)

You will be taken to a new webpage. Click the blue Add Printer link.

Once you have added a printer to your Google account, you can print up to 15 pages per day. The printer will be associated with the Google login you used, so in order to print, you have to be logged into that account.

Upload and Print a Document

Log into your Google account on Chrome. From google.com/cloudprint, click the red Print button and select “Upload File to Print”.

Copyright

The Library Board and staff accept no responsibility for material photocopied under the terms of the Copyright Act. Copyright regulations are clearly marked beside the photocopier. Staff may inform a patron they are in violation of copyright but it is the patron’s decision as to whether they will continue the transaction.
