Links to TVO kids are on the Pelham Public Library’s children’s area computers. We love this one for its award-winning, advertising-free videos, games and content that supports the Ontario curriculum. TVO Kids offers educational programming throughout the day for school-aged children.

TVO Kids YouTube Channels dedicated to STEM and literacy programs:

  • Science and Technology supports the Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3 core science curriculum. Kids can learn from fun science experiments – and even try some of them at home.
  • Mathematics supports the Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3 core curriculum. Kids can learn math in a way that is intriguing and fun!
  • Language Join in an imaginative world where learning language is paramount. View any of the specially chosen videos on this YouTube channel and witness the growth of language skills and the love of reading.

DK is the top publisher of all of your children’s favourite general reference and illustrated non-fiction books. Their DK Find Out! website is a safe place online for your children to learn about and explore almost everything.

The Kid Should See This – The internet is full of amazing content; sometimes it’s just challenging to find it! TKSST spotlights a wide variety of short videos that can start conversations, spark questions, and inspire offline exploration for all ages.


National Geographic Kids logo  Like their books, National Geographic Kids provides children with an overwhelming number of high-quality visual learning tools. Profiles of animals and countries include videos, photos, maps, and facts.
