Treaty 101

The Niagara Region is on land covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Agreement.
Join Willow Shawanoo (Turtle Clan) from the Niagara Regional Native Centre for an introduction to treaties. Learn about the impact of treaties on Indigenous communities and the importance of the treaties that cover the land where we live. A question and answer session will follow the discussion.
